On September 20, at the 18th Annual Conference of China Foundry Association, Chairman Ren was awarded the "China Foundry Industry Lifetime Achievement Award" and received the award on stage. Chairman Ren said that the honour was not only a recognition for himself, but also for the Jianzhi Group.

Chairman Ren was honoured with the "China Foundry Industry Lifetime Achievement Award" because of his professional and dedicated craftsmanship and his far-sighted, pragmatic and innovative family sentiments. Over the years, he has been committed to the "Jianzhi dream" of making the Jianzhi Group the first in the country in the overall level of the steel industry. 1982, he started with nothing and built a small local private enterprise into a national first-class enterprise. He has won 6 provincial and ministerial level science and technology progress awards, 15 national patents and 2 national key new products. He has been awarded the titles of "Model Worker of Hebei Province" and "Meritorious Entrepreneur of Hebei Province", etc. Over the past 20 years, he has participated in the formulation and revision of five national standards and made important contributions to the development of industry standards for mallets.
